Wilcox Helmet Mount for AN/PVS-23 F5050 NVGs P/N 56500G01 and P/N 56500G02 for ANVIS F4949 NVGs

F4949 (ANVIS 9) aviator and F5050 (AN/PVS-23) night vision goggles have become popular for use with ground operations because of their low profile stance on the combat helmet and improved aviator grade tube performance. Wilcox’s Line of L4 G01 and G02 ANVIS Mounting Systems integrates existing Army mounting capabilities with Wilcox’s standards for firm attachment of an NVG to a MICH/ACH helmet. These uniquely designed Mounts feature a battery power source for powering a mounted F5050 (G01 Model) or F4949 (G02 Model) for ground use. Wilcox offers standard army shroud mounting options for one-hole, three-hole, and strap mount mounting to a helmet, and a Head Mount option for mounting to an operator’s head. This unique mount easily integrates with existing inventories of Army shrouds.

Features of the ANVIS/5050 Mounts
Breakaway feature allows mount to break away under stress, or to securely lock in place by means of a breakaway lever.

Dual NVG Release Buttons allow the NVG to be quickly detached from the NVG Mount. Each mechanical adjustment and control is durable and ergonomically positioned for easy one-handed operation while handling a weapon.

Maintains a very low profile stance on the helmet.

Provides 36-hour continuous operation on one (1) CR 123 battery.

Provides “force to overcome” flip up with lock and push button lock release for flip down.

The Wilcox Detent Assembly allows the Goggle to remain attached to the NVG Mount during operational stress conditions such as when running or jumping. Goggle will not detach inadvertently as with the manufacturer provided spring loaded ball detent.

Accommodates optional Wilcox Power Supply Connector Module for use with currently fielded ANVIS Battery Packs.

The Wilcox L4 G01 and G02 ANVIS Mounting Systems Product Line is featured with a wide range of adjustments to customize the position of the F5050 or F4949 Night Vision Goggle for proper eye position, and provide a maximum low profile position to the helmet.
L4 G01 and G02 Components:
1) Lock Release Lever allows NVG height to be easily adjusted up or down, then secured.
2) A Mount Release Lever allows the operator to easily set the desirable mode (breakaway or locked), depending upon operational needs.
3) A Release Lever allows the mount to be easily dismounted.
4) A Battery Compartment Release Button allows for one-handed release of the battery compartment for battery replacement while wearing the NVG.
5) A battery compartment located on the front of the Mount powers the NVG and is easily detachable and reattachable, allowing the operator to quickly change the battery while worn.
6) A Powered Mounting Interface holds the NVG in place during operation. The NVG can be quickly released by simultaneously depressing the NVG Release Buttons positioned on both sides of the mount.

Additional Mounting Interface Components
7) A Wilcox NVG Lanyard Assembly provides a secure attachment to an array of NVG Devices, preventing loss of the NVG.
